Introduction to the EVCP
The EVCP is made up of voluntary, community and government organisations that want to support people through empowerment activities to have the power and capacity to improve their lives.

The EVCP Coordinator is Pauline Dutton.
EVCP meets every 6 weeks at RAWM’s offices.
How EVCP works
EVCP is funded through two government initatives, the National Empowerment Partnership and Targeted Support for Empowerment and Participation Improvement.
The National Empowerment Partnership supports ordinary people to influence decision that affect their lives.
The Targeted Support for Empowerment and Participation Improvement offers support to areas that are most in need of help.
Funding is adminstered by the Community Development Foundation.
As the accountable body for the funding streams in the West Midlands, RAWM is responsible for the delivery of the empowerment programme through the performance of the partnership.
