West Midlands Economic Strategy: Delivery Framework Consultation
Connecting to Success, the new West Midlands Economic Strategy, was launched on 10th December 2007. It sets out the region’s approach to closing the £10 billion output gap by seeking to raise output per head in the West Midlands to at least the average for the UK as a whole.
At the same time as Connecting to Success was launched, Advantage West Midlands also invited consultation on the draft Delivery Framework for the Strategy. The Delivery Framework provides greater detail on how the Strategy could be delivered and the consultation is an opportunity to contribute your views on how it should be delivered.
The consultation period for the draft Delivery Framework runs from 10th December 2007 to 22nd February 2008.
RAWM intends to submit a regional response on behalf of the Voluntary and Community Sectors and we would like to incorporate your organisation’s views within the regional response; we would encourage you to complete the consultation response form on the right and return it to rawm@rawm.co.uk by FRIDAY 8th FEBRUARY 2008. (This will enable us to write and submit our formal response before the deadline of 22nd February.)
To help you with your response please find the Delivery Framework Consultation Draft and Consultation Response Guidance Notes on the right hand menu. For more information visit www.advantagewm.co.uk
