Advantage West Midlands
Advantage West Midlands (AWM) is one of nine Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) across the country. They were established by Government in 1999 to transform England’s regions through sustainable economic development. Their role in the West Midlands is to help transform the regional economy. They do this by connecting need and opportunity to create a better place in which to invest, work, learn, visit and live.
AWM leads the development and delivery of the West Midlands Regional Economic Strategy (WMRES) which is the framework for AWM and their partners’ activity up to 2010.
