Consortium of Lesbian, Gay & Bisexual Voluntary & Community Organisations
The Consortium was established in 1998 by a group of lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) organisations. It works with its membership of over 200 projects and groups to: publicise the work of LGB organisations, and to encourage and assist the development of partnerships between them, assist LGB organisations to develop their capacity to achieve their purpose more effectively, promote volunteering within the LGB communities and promote good practice in the use and employment of volunteers in LGB organisations.
