RAWM membership

RAWM is currently reviewing its membership criteria and associated benefits. Until this is complete the following will apply. For more information about membership and the membership review process please contact RAWM.

RAWM’s membership is open to networks of Voluntary and Community Organisations in the West Midlands, individual Voluntary and Community Organisations and constituted local, regional and national public and private sector agencies and Voluntary and Community Organisations.

The membership application process is straighforward; simply print off the document in the right hand menu, complete and return to RAWM. Applications will be processed by RAWM staff and membership granted at RAWM’s next Board meeting. You will be contacted following the Board’s decision.

Your annual subscription includes the following services:

Information Services

  • Action News: RAWM’s quarterly newsletter includes special editions and conference updates
  • Action Briefings: Short policy updates on current issues (at least 6 per year).
  • Fax and email service: monthly information on regional and sub-regional strategies, events, consultations and news.
  • Website resources: autom,atically become a member of the website and obtain access to RAWM’s online resources and receive regular bnews updates.
  • Special discounts for RAWM’s publications, research and Supporting Communities Directory

Highlight Your Organisation

  • Include your organisation/ research findings/ reports etc, in the searchable online resources
  • Submit information for inclusion in RAWM’s fax and email service, website or newsletter.

Events and Activities

  • Opportunities to be informed about and involved in, regional networking activities concerned with specific themes, for example: learning, ageing, health, housing, refugee and asylum, young people, faiths, gender, rural, disability etc.
  • Attend regional and sub-regional events on relevant issues, consultation activities and policy discussions.
  • Reduced fees for attending RAWM’s annual conference and AGM.
  • Reduced costs for use of RAWM’s neeting rooms and facilities.

In addition, Full Members:

  • Can nominate a candidate for election onto RAWM’s Board
  • Are eligible to be involved with RAWM’s democratic processes, and can vote on Board elections and resolutions.

Membership Subscriptions
Full Membership Criteria:

  • Networks with income of less than £25,000 in the last financial year £10
  • Networks with income from £25,000 and less than £100,000 in the last financial year £20
  • Networks with income from £100,000 and less than £200,000 in the last financial year £30
  • Networks with income of £200,000 and over in the last financial year £40

Associate Membership (VCOs) Criteria:

  • Individual voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) with income of less than £25,000 in the last financial year £5
  • Individual voluntary and community organisations with income from £25,000 and less than £100,000 in the last financial year £10
  • Individual voluntary and community organisations with income from £100,000 and less than £200,000 in the last financial year £15
  • Individual voluntary and community organisations with income of £200,000 and over in the last financial year £20

Associate Membership (Other) Criteria:

  • Other public and private agencies and national voluntary organisations £50
