RAWM CEO Receives MBE in Queen's Honours List
Thu, 01/07/2010
The Board and staff of RAWM are delighted to congratulate Sharon Palmer, its Chief Executive Officer, on being made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list of 2010 for her charitable work.
Sharon said: “I am pleased to receive this award on behalf of my current team at RAWM, and those colleagues I have worked with in the voluntary and charitable sectors throughout my career.”
Mike Barnes, Chair of the RAWM Board of Trustees said: “We are all thrilled at this recognition of Sharon’s commitment, loyalty and the sheer hard work she has given to the wider sector over the years.”
Mike went onto say: “RAWM’s current success and leadership of the voluntary and community sectors in the West Midlands would not have been possible without Sharon’s drive, determination and total commitment to the local communities within the region”.
