Children's Workforce Development Council and Children England are working together with regional partners to support the sector with a series of informative regional seminars.

The seminars will be chaired by a high profile member of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE), and will include a keynote speech by Jane Haywood, Chief Executive of CWDC, and workshops co-facilitated by VCSE and CWDC staff that will focus on key areas identified as current priorities within the sector:

  • Integrated working: the experience and engagement of the sector in integrated delivery, processes and governance;
  • Leadership and management issues within the sector, including access to development opportunities;
  • Higher level skills: social work, intensive family support, and the demands of the increased role the sector is playing in delivery of targeted interventions.
