A new resource is available from the Parliamentary Outreach service which will support you in delivering workshops about the work and processes of Parliament.

By successfully completing this 2 day course you will have access to a resource of 11 modules which you can use with your members to increase their understanding of Parliament and how to engage effectively.

The 11 modules are:

  1. What is Democracy
  2. What is Parliament
  3. What is Government
  4. The House of Commons and the role of an MP
  5. The House of Lords and the role of Member of House of Lords
  6. How a law is made
  7. The local link
  8. How to engage effectively
  9. Select Committees
  10. The devolved administrations
  11. Europe and the UK Parliament

All modules consist of a session plan, presentation and a wide variety of group exercises.
