Sitra and St Basils have come together to bring you an exciting conference this autumn. Supporting young people with additional needs is a unique event that will bring both professionals and young people together as speakers, workshop facilitators and delegates on the day.

This event has been designed to enable those working for and with young people to:

  • Learn practical and creative ways of working with young people
  • Learn how to better engage and understand young people with additional needs
  • Improve your services in the future and make sure there are tailored to what young people want

The conference is mostly practice focused, aiming to show you new ways of working; and you will hear first hand accounts from young people about how support services have helped turn their life around, as well as work does and does not work for them.

The event will also include an interactive session delivered by the National Youth Reference Group, which is made up of young people aged 16 – 25 from across England who are homeless or have experienced homelessness.
