Children England and 4Children are working together in their strategic partnership role with Department for Education (DfE), to support the early years and childcare sector. As part of their programme of events, resources and support to equip the sector to build its practice and capacity both organisations invite you to this event.

This event will give you a ‘one stop shop’ opportunity to find out more about the DfE's recent policy reforms and developments for early years, including the EYFS framework, the Nutbrown Review, the Early Education/Code of Practice consultation, Payment by Results for Children’s Centres, and the ‘Big Society’ vision of an increased role for parents, communities and VCS organisations in shaping and delivering public services.

As well as offering useful information on sector reforms and policy developments, this event is designed to create the space to explore their timescales and potential impact in practice, and for all participants to debate and offer feedback that can inform both local and national government plans.
