Why is the learning cluster important to the sector?

The Information and Communications Learning Cluster aims to improve the standards of infrastructure organisations, by bringing together information and communications professionals from across the West Midlands voluntary and community sector to share best practice and discuss needs, barriers and solutions.

It enables organisations to:

  • Have a space to consider important information and communication issues
  • Access and share relevant information, specific to the children and young people’s VCS
  • Identify info and comms needs, barriers and solutions
  • Make links with staff from other VCS organisations who share an interest or role in this area
  • Explore training opportunities for this work area
  • Be part of a regional information and communications hub
