CSV Make a Difference Day

This autumn make sure you get involved in Make a Difference Day, the UK’s biggest day of volunteering!

Last year more than 70,000 volunteers were involved in over 2,000 activities ranging from renovating community centres to creating community gardens, teaching IT skills or helping housebound neighbours. This year’s campaign will focus on activities that combat isolation by reaching out to people who might feel lonely or marginalised.

Free resources include a handbook including ideas and advice for setting up an activity, and an action pack containing t-shirts, posters and certificates for volunteers. Organising an activity is also a great way to recruit new volunteers, who can find events on the website, get in touch with the organiser and come along on the day.
