This course is ideal for you if you are new to supporting groups, or revisiting the job after time away. The topics covered will include how to:

  • effectively communicate with groups and organisations to establish roles, responsibilities and boundaries and understand what activities you could undertake with them
  • identify the personal and professional qualities you need as a development worker
  • evaluate the impact of ethical dilemmas you may encounter in your work
  • access the support and resources available to you.

Booking Information

Each course has an actual cost of £110 per person, however thanks to the funding SKiLD receives from Capacitybuilders they are available at a subsidised price of £49 per person. Cost includes: VAT, lunch, refreshments and all handouts.
