Black Fundraisers UK has launched the Avocado pilot offering support for funding success for ten BAME organisations!

The Black Fundraisers UK - a special interest group of the Institute of Fundraising - has been awarded funding over next two years to pilot Avocado, a programme to support the development and fundraising capacity of small Black-led groups in Birmingham.

On offer for free is a mix of mentoring, group training and diagnostic work to identify strengths, development needs and fundraising skills. Interested groups must commit to participating in the full programme over the two years. By the end of the programme groups will have increased their effectiveness, their impact on beneficiaries and their fundraising success

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for ten groups to benefit from high level capacity building and consultancy, grow sustainably and successfully raise funds for their work in the community. BAME groups in Birmingham are urged to apply immediately. This programme is likely to be oversubscribed by the closing date on 21 October 2016 at 5pm ’ Further details can be found here.
